I sell hobbyist things on eBay, from cups to dolls, to functional sneakers. It’s like running a small business, and here is an outline of what I do, and how the skills learned here also fit into a larger organization.

This shows thoughtful decision making. Sometimes you reconsider things and keep the item. Measure twice, cut once.

They should be clear and in a fairly neutral light.
Some things are harder to photograph than others (think, Funko Pops, Monster High dolls with decal eyes - there’s a reflection).
Also take photos of the flaws and issues.
This shows an eye for detail. No one wants to see a blurry picture, and in the workplace, you don’t want to back and forth to correct something that’s subpar, so let’s try our best.
